Magical and Enchanting Island of Fortune ( Fortune Island in Batangas)

Fortune Island gave highlights during our day tour to this magical and enchanting island of Fortune.Fortune Island is located Nasugbu in Batangas. It used to be a private island harboring an exclusive luxury resort.

The Island gave me that feeling. When we finally arrived, it did not disappoint us. The timing of our visit contributed a lot in enabling me to take in as much as I wanted from the trip – have quality time with friends, appreciate the ruins, enjoy the waves, and revel in the calm blue waters.

Fortune Island is not your typical tropical paradise. It is that and more. Surreal. Mystique. Mythical. So if you need a quick beach fix with a goddess’ touch, simply head your way to our country’s own version of Athens.

Fashion and Styling

Before, my dream is to become a Fashion Designer and taking Fine Arts was my first choice. Fortunately, I become a Teacher in Physical Education (I'm not saying that I am not happy to what I become especially I met my amazing and wonderful people, Batch 2003).  When I got the mere chance to become a professional Teacher, my love for fashion was still there which my colleagues, friends and family is still asking for my help or idea when it comes to styling and designing. Even now that I am working in a corporate world, my colleagues are still asking for some advice and ideas about styling and fashion especially during corporate activities and events.

Fashion designing or Styling is  the other side of me aside for being a teacher, choreographer, photographer and now a blogger. (Di naman ako talented di ba hehehe Joke lang! ) Dressing up myself is a way of expressing myself and how is my mood today.FYI, my favorite colors are yellow, blue and green. Dressing up is like eating your favorite food because when you are happy about the food you are eating you feel comfortable and relaxing.right? so just the same in fashion if you're comfortable and relax you feel confident and Happy. 🙂

Note: I don't want to be label fashionista  because sometimes people mistaken
that word fashionista somewhat like your extravagant, socialite, party goer, rich and
some millennial words.

"Being a fashionista for me is not to impress everyone but to express who I really am."

Litrato, Larawan Atbp (Photo, Picture etc.)

Litrato Larawan atbp. (Photo Picture etc.)

I started to take pictures as a hobby only and time goes by I found out that I can
capture pictures with beautiful meaning.

Nowadays,we can easily get source of idea and news anywhere through social media. This modern communication system is enhanced further with visuals through photography.

I started to take pictures as a hobby only and time goes by I found out that I can capture pictures with beautiful meaning. I remember my fist ever digital camera that I have until now was Samsung  digimax A502 which I bought at pawnshop in Boracay Island where I used to work.Until I upgraded to semi professional camera which I bought to my friend was a Canon DSLR EOS 40D.

Since I believe I have a talent in photography.I decided to take photography class
and also the encourgement of my friends and family. I enrolled to Sir Nicolay's Photography 101 class in order to learn and enhance more about the world of photography. I have not yet finish my lesson's to Sir Nick class but I assure to my myself to complete all the courses soon.

Every picture that a photographer captures makes him happy. So... tell your stories well with good pictures and let your viewer enjoy your photography. When you enjoy what you do,you feel happy. when you feel happy, you remain healthy.Yes, stay healthy with your photography.

Below are my sample photos:

Abra de Ilog (opening of the river )

"Things will eventually work out. Keep your head up."

Abra de Ilog was formerly a small settlement founded by Spanish religious missionaries sometime in the early part of the 17th century. According to folk history, its former name was Abre de Ilog. The name was derived from the Spanish verb abrir (to open) and the Tagalog noun ilog (river). Later on, the name evolved into its present name: Abra de Ilog, a Chabacano-like terminology which can be loosely translated as bucana ng ilog, or "opening of the river." This can be attributed to the numerous rivers and creeks that traverses strategic areas of the municipality.

Abra de Ilog, officially the Municipality of Abra de Ilog, is a 2nd class municipality in  the

province of Occidental Mindoro, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of

31,306 people. It was classified as partially urban.

Why You Should Travel Alone At Least Once In Your Life

1. You will meet amazing people.
While traveling with friends or a significant other can be a lot of fun, traveling solo for a certain amount of time can prove to be one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever do because of the great people you’ll meet.
When we travel with friends or a partner, we tend to stick to that little group of familiar faces and even though you’ll meet new people, the dynamics and interactions won’t be as deep and fulfilling. While you’re on your own on the road, you’re much more eager to meet travel buddies, team up with other travelers and generally reach out more in order to socialize.
2. The overwhelming sense of absolute freedom.
When you travel on your own and you start meeting people and making awesome friends, you’ll probably team up with travel buddies and end up expanding your travel plans. You’ll probably change your plans once you hear about that amazing waterfall, that incredible desert beach, the opportunity to bungee jump from a high bridge, or taste a special delicacy you’ll only find off the beaten track.
When you’re traveling, you’re open to change and you’ll welcome it with open arms. The great thing is that you don’t have to fit into a group’s agenda, give explanations or disappoint anyone, you can follow your rhythm, desires and move like the wind.
3. Traveling alone challenges your fears and insecurities.
This is a big one, especially if it’s your first solo experience. I remember the first time I traveled when I was 18 and moved to London on my own for 3 months to be an au pair and live with a local family. I was terrified of the unknown, but if I would have surrendered to that fear, I would have never get to know the strong, courageous and adventurous side of me. I was scared, but I did it anyways and by the 3rd day, I was really proud of myself. From then on I never let fear stop me. 16 years and many adventures later, I still have a little voice inside my head, asking: “What if something goes wrong?” “What if you get into trouble?” This is normal and perfectly human; fear exists for our own protection and boosts our awareness. But we shouldn’t let it control our lives.
Safety can be a great comfort, but common sense is the key. Read and research a lot before you travel, check out hostel reviews, and research feedback from other travelers in forums and blogs. Respect the local culture and I guarantee you’ll be fine.
4. Fall in love.
Everyone wants to find their better half and much is said about failed relationships while on the road. It doesn’t have to be like that! We find love when we meet someone who shares our interests, dreams, and goals. While traveling solo you’ll meet so many people from all walks of life that falling in love might just happen. Whether it will be a great summer love or end up at the altar, no one knows, but there are many people out there with amazing stories.
If you already have a partner, this time away can boost your passion and once you’re back, you’ll appreciate each other’s company more.
5. You can take the time to nurture yourself.
If you have a stressful life back home, either studying hard or working too much, traveling on your own can be the time to take some time off and nurture yourself.
Whether you’re a backpacker traveling cheap or if the sky is the limit as far as your budget goes, you can use this time to pamper yourself. Indulge in rich and delicious local meals which will boost your energy and health, take long walks on the beach by sunrise, or get a massage. Do some yoga and relax a lot. Enjoy all the wonderful things you deserve, and understand that happiness is a birth right, not a privilege.
6. You’ll have a chance to recreate yourself and be who you want to be.
While traveling solo, you can leave your grumpy, tired old self behind and start to be a new you. Explore parts of your personality you are not very comfortable or familiar with. When on the road, you might be challenged by unexpected factors and be positively surprised how well you respond to them. Empower yourself by unleashing the wonderful, irresistible and intelligent person you are, but whom you’ve neglected in your everyday routine.
7. You can finally take time to leave everything else behind.
Just disconnect from the world for a while. Turn off your mobile, “forget” to check you emails for a few days… don’t think about the bills, the responsibilities, the duties and problems. Leave them behind.
Some of the most intense creative times or the ones where we find the solutions for all our problems are actually the moments when we disconnect and stop worrying. Have you ever tried to remember a name or a date and you just can’t spit it out, but after you quit trying it pops out? It’s the same for the rest of life. Sometimes our brains need to get rid of old thoughts in order to be able to create space for new ones, better ones. So just disconnect yourself from everything and you might be amazed by how fresh you’ll feel once you get back home.

The Calaguas Island

"Wake me up when September Ends" I know it's the lyric of the song of  September Ends by  Green Day. What will happen when September ends? So I write this article it's not about the song of Green Day but its because I write this article dated September 30 so end of the month.

My first feature of my travel Goals is the Island of Calaguas. The Calaguas is located in the Philippine province of Camarines Norte. It includes the major islands of Tinaga Island and Guintinua Island, the minor Maculabo Island, as well as several other minor islands.
Most of the islands are under the administrative jurisdiction of Vinzons, while the minor island of Maculabo is under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Paracale. Recently, the island of Tinaga where the well-known long beach called Mahabang Buhangin is located is experiencing an influx of tourists despite the absence of accommodation. Campers and backpackers visit Mahabang Buhangin to experience its powdery white sands.
The recent popularity of Calaguas Island has brought many tourists and travelers, especially during the summer. This has worried some of the natives and locals that increased tourism might lead to the detriment of the island's peace and serenity. This is why the local government has created a program that will hold everyone responsible for taking care of Calaguas Island
With the local community's effort is to safeguard and protect the well-being of the island. Big and small tour operators are encouraged to preserve the quiet and peaceful nature of Calaguas Island. Most small and local tour island operators such as Calaguas Local and other tour operators are helping the community move towards better local eco-tourism in the island.
